InstaAuto vs LinkDM
LinkDM and InstaAuto are close cousins. Both focus on Instagram, both are built around the "comment a keyword, get the link in DMs" pattern, and both aim at creators rather than large marketing teams. If you are choosing between them, the decision usually comes down to the free plan, the extras you need, and how you prefer to pay.
LinkDM's free plan is generous, offering around 1,000 DMs per month at the time of writing. InstaAuto's free plan gives 500 DMs a month with three rules and a small "Powered by InstaAuto" line. If you only need a free tool for a single reel campaign, LinkDM's free tier may be enough, and we would rather say that plainly.
Where InstaAuto tries to earn its place is in what comes after the free tier: rupee pricing from ₹199/month, a follow gate that actually checks whether someone follows you, email and phone lead capture with CSV export, click tracking, and AI replies that can answer in Hindi or Hinglish when no rule matches.

Same Meta rules, whichever tool you pick
Any tool that uses Instagram's official API works inside the same limits. You can only message someone within 24 hours of their last interaction, each comment can get one private reply (within 7 days), and unsolicited bulk DMs are not allowed. InstaAuto deliberately has no broadcast feature. If a tool promises to DM your whole follower list, treat that as a risk to your account, not a feature.
Frequently asked questions
Which has the bigger free plan, InstaAuto or LinkDM?
LinkDM's free plan is larger, around 1,000 DMs per month versus InstaAuto's 500 (as of Oct 2026). Check LinkDM's site for current limits.
Why would I pay for InstaAuto if LinkDM is free?
If you need a verified follow gate, lead capture, click tracking, multiple accounts or Hinglish AI replies at a fixed rupee price, InstaAuto's paid plans cover those from ₹199/month.
Can I use both tools on the same Instagram account?
Technically possible, but two tools replying to the same comment will conflict and Instagram allows only one private reply per comment. Use one tool per account.
Does InstaAuto work with personal Instagram accounts?
No. Like other API-based tools, it needs a Professional account (Business or Creator). Switching is free in Instagram settings.
